You never pick the line: the game cycles through the unsolved rows and columns in a fixed order, and the header shows which line is active. Type a five-letter word and press Enter — green squares are locked and pre-filled, so your word has to agree with them. Each square then gets a hint: green means the letter is in the right square; yellow means the letter is somewhere in this line; red means it is in the crossing line; orange means both; white means it is elsewhere on the board; black means the letter is not on the board at all. A digit on a hint mark counts the arrow pairs — the lower of the letter's occurrences in your guess and in the target line. Solving a line (all five squares green) earns a bonus guess; solving all six lines wins, running out of guesses loses. Add ?board=42 to the page URL to replay and share the exact same board — all 120 boards are fixed data, and New board moves to the next one.

Objective: Solve all six hidden words — three rows and three columns that interlock across a 5x5 grid of 21 letter squares and 4 blocks — before your guesses run out. You start with 10 guesses and earn 1 bonus guess for every fully solved line (up to 5 bonus). Controls: Physical keyboard (letters, Enter, Backspace) and the on-screen keyboard share the same input path, with 44px tap targets; Enter submits, Backspace deletes the last letter, and the ↻ New board button starts a fresh board. Works with mouse and touch.
