Play Watermelon Merge free online: drop fruit into the box, merge two matching fruits into the next one and grow a watermelon. A physics merge puzzle with 11 fruit tiers, no download, no sign-up.
Play Watermelon Merge
Move the pointer (or drag on a touchscreen) to aim, then tap or click to drop the held fruit; the NEXT panel previews the fruit that comes after it. Every drop lands with real physics, so the pile shifts as it grows. Two fruits of the same tier merge into the next tier as soon as they touch. The left column shows the score and the best score, the right column shows the next fruit. Add ?seed=123 to the page URL for a fixed drop sequence, or ?tier=0 to force one fruit tier. Your best score is stored on this device.

Objective: Drop fruit into the box and merge two matching fruits into the next tier, all the way up to a watermelon. The box holds 11 fruit tiers - cherry, strawberry, grapes, orange, apple, pear, lemon, peach, pineapple, melon and watermelon - and only the three smallest tiers (cherry, strawberry, grapes) come out of the drop queue. Merging a tier scores (tier + 1) x (tier + 2) / 2 points, and two watermelons cancel each other out for a 100-point bonus. The run ends when a resting fruit crosses the dashed danger line near the top of the box. Controls: Pointer or touch: move to aim, tap or click to drop. Keyboard: the Left and Right arrows or A and D move the aim 12 pixels per press, Space, Enter or the Down arrow drops the fruit. On the game-over screen, click Play again to restart.

Watermelon Merge is a Playnesta-original drop-and-merge physics puzzle. The game logic (watermelon_merge.js: the 11-tier fruit table, the box geometry, the merge rule and its scoring, the danger line, the drop queue and the renderer), the stylesheet (watermelon_merge.css), the page shell (index.html), the analytics bridge and the touch shim are Playnesta-original and released under the MIT license (see LICENSE.txt in the package). The only upstream code shipped is the physics engine matter-js 0.19.0 (MIT, commit 07aec9ff5ed7e09da6106c73587716d7a1165125), vendored byte-identical as vendor/matter.min.js (sha256 bdf68e297d6c4ec85b8dd693b8781d99db0090449c9a3ba69948eede08c9275a) with its license at vendor/matter.LICENSE.txt; it supplies rigid-body physics only, no rendering, no input and no game logic. Every fruit is drawn at runtime from canvas primitives plus a system emoji glyph, so no bitmap, icon font, audio or webfont is shipped or fetched, and no runtime request leaves the page. The game is renamed: the published fruit-merge product Suika Game is a trademark of Aladdin X / popIn, and the genre names 'suika game', 'watermelon game' and 'fruit merge' appear here only as tags and search phrases, never as the game's name, slug or title. Playnesta Games is the developer and publisher of this web implementation. https://github.com/liabru/matter-js · MIT
