Tap a cell, then tap a digit 1-4 (or type on the keyboard). Tap the same digit again or press Erase to clear. Undo, Restart and Hint (3 per puzzle) are available. A cell that breaks a row or column constraint is highlighted; a cage is checked when all its cells are filled.

Objective: Fill every cell with 1-4 so each row and column contains 1-4 exactly once, and the digits inside each cage satisfy its clue: a single value, a sum, a difference, a product or a quotient. Each cage is outlined with a thick border and its clue is shown in its top-left cell. Controls: Mouse/touch: click/tap a cell, then a digit button. Keyboard: arrow keys to move, 1-4 to enter, Backspace/Delete/0 to clear, or click the on-screen pad.

Cage Arithmetic (KenKen) is a Playnesta-original implementation. The rules engine (engine.js: 4x4 row/column uniqueness plus cage arithmetic constraints), the puzzle library (puzzles.js: 9 frozen puzzles across 3 tiers), the page shell (index.html), the stylesheet, the analytics bridge and the touch shim are all Playnesta-original and released under the MIT license (see LICENSE.txt in the package). No upstream code, artwork, audio, font or network asset is redistributed.
