Method: every rule below was verified against this site's playable build — constants read from the shipped game (15x14 hex grid, 7 colors, aim clamped 8-172 degrees, wall bounce mirrors the angle, cluster pops score n x 100, each stranded drop +100, 5 shots without a pop descend a new row, bottom-row touch ends the run, the next-bubble preview always matches a color still on the board), a headless-browser check confirmed aiming plus tap-to-shoot, the Game Over board, tap-to-restart, and bridge load/start/restart events with zero errors at mobile width. Controls: move to aim, click or tap to shoot; tap the Game Over board for a fresh run. A bubble-shooter aiming game, rebuilt here as Bubble Burst.

1. Bank shots off the side walls — the angle mirrors exactly

Bubbles bounce off the left and right walls with a perfect mirror angle, so pockets hiding behind the wall are reachable with a bank shot instead of a lucky straight hit. Aim at the wall point that reflects toward your target color the way a pool player aims a cushion shot. Beginners who only shoot straight waste shots on blocked lanes; one banked shot per run usually clears a whole side pocket.

2. Pop 4 or more at once — scoring is per bubble

Every popped bubble scores 100 points times the cluster size, so a 5-bubble pop is worth five times a minimum 3-match. Set up big pops by firing your color into a wide patch of the same color instead of sniping the first 3-match you see. The score gap between 3-pops and 5-pops decides your best runs.

3. Drop strays for free points — cut the branch, not the leaves

Bubbles left floating with no path to the top drop automatically at +100 each, so popping the small connector cluster above a big hanging group clears the whole group in one shot. Always look for the branch holding up the most bubbles before aiming at the bubbles themselves.

4. Never fire 5 shots without a pop — the wall descends

Every 5th shot that pops nothing pushes a fresh row down from the top, and any bubble touching the bottom row ends the run. Count your dead shots: after 3 misses in a row, play safe and guarantee a pop with the next shot even if it is small. The wall reaching the bottom is the only way to lose, so row pressure is the whole game.

5. Trust the next-bubble preview — it always matches the board

The preview bubble is drawn from colors still present on the wall, so it is never a dead color. Plan two shots ahead: if the preview matches a pocket you are setting up, fire your current bubble to open the lane and let the preview finish the job. Game Over is a free fresh board — tap the board and open by clearing the widest same-color patch first.

FAQ

How do I play?

Move to aim the cannon, click or tap to shoot. Match 3 or more bubbles of a color to pop them.

How do I score?

Popped clusters score 100 points per bubble, and stranded bubbles that drop score 100 each.

What ends the run?

Any bubble reaching the bottom row ends the run with Game Over; tap the board for an instant fresh run.

Do bank shots work?

Yes — bubbles mirror off both side walls, so angled bank shots reach pockets straight shots cannot.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes — taps aim and shoot through the same code path as the mouse, and the board scales fluidly to viewports as narrow as 390px with no sideways scroll.

Where can I play it?

Right on this site's bubble-burst page. The game is a self-hosted modification of the MIT-licensed Bubble Shooter Example by Rembound.com; license and attribution are listed under the game.
